The 2008 Group Health Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic was a terrific success. Thank you to all the riders who rode safely and respectfully from Seattle to Portland. Thank you to all of the wonderful volunteers who helped make the event smooth and enjoyable for the 9,500 participants.

Registration for the 30th annual STP will open on January 1, 2009. Members of Cascade Bicycle Club will be given priority registration through January. Registration will open for the general public on Feb. 1. Not a member? Join today!

Welcome to the 29th annual Group Health Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic official web site. This 200-mile bicycle ride is the largest multi-day bicycle event in the Northwest, with up to 9,500 participants riding from Seattle to Portland in one or two days. The route takes you through the scenic valleys, forests, and farmlands of western Washington and Oregon. Come join what Bicycling Magazine has listed as one of the best cycling events in the nation!
